Artotech Integration was mandated by the Housing and Development Corporation of Montreal (SHDM) to provide the following scenographic equipment for the Îlot Balmoral project located at 1501 rue Bleury in Montreal.
Artotech Integration supplied and installed eight motorized double grids with receptacles for cables built for animation studios A (2-127) & B (2-126).
Four Chainmaster D8 + 250 kg chain motors lower and raise each double grid. Each of the grids is fitted with (3) removable pipes using Doughty T58759 black clamps to allow the changing of the arrangement of stage equipment (sound, lighting, video) which will be attached to the double grids.
The control of motorized double grid systems is made via a panel of main wall control station which allows manual control of 2 double grids each from 4 button stations on the 2nd floor. Control from a HandyGOT operator interface allows automatic positioning mode and to independently control each motor in maintenance mode.
Artotech Integration supplied and installed four sets of motorized battens in the Multimedia Room on the ground floor. These battens will be used to hang stage equipment. The battens are connected to and powered by the Prodigy EXO 900G Powerhead lifting system. The Podigy EXO lifting system is controlled by the operator and the assistant operator using the QT4 Quick Touch console installed on the wall or the FSRC QuickTouch remote control.
Artotech Integration supplied and installed stage dressing systems in studios A & B, in the M1-212 recording studio and in the CTN Tech room. Stage dressing systems include curtain rails, single double carriers and high-quality blackout and sound absorbing curtains.
Artotech Integration supplied and installed several fixed and modular hanging systems as well as removable horizontal and vertical pipes in several locations listed below. Pipe removable hooks complete the set. Horizontal pipes are attached to the walls of the A & B studios.
