Inheriting A New Era in Radio and TV Transmission

The television shows produced by Société Radio-Canada are often regarded as among the best in the world. One of Joel Rigging and SHOWSDT largest projects together to date, La Nouvelle Maison de Radio-Canada, is now complete. It houses the offices, studios, and master control for all of the CBC/SRC's French language radio and television services, including CBFT, the network's primary broadcasting outlet. The CBC's digital international broadcasting service is headquartered there, as well as the main studio for Montreal's local English-language CBC programs.

We're very pleased with our contribution to the completion of the main TV studio. We worked together on the integration, providing, and setting up a substantial amount of high-tech rigging and drapery equipment for the latter.

In addition to providing the grids, cable trays, stage curtains, etc. for the other studios, we also supplied the equipment for those rooms.

With great pleasure, Joel Rigging & SHOWSDT was able to provide state-of-the-art, high-performance rigging for the studios at the Nouvelle Maison Radio-Canada, which will significantly enhance the efficiency and security of the technicians' daily tasks.
