Usine C

The Usine C is a multidisciplinary and historical theatrical venue with an industrial feel, which includes two rooms for various performances. The project at Usine C is quite particular, as the mandate of SHOWSDT was to update the rigging and control system, but recovering all the elements that were still functional and useful for the multipurpose room.

National Arts Centre

SHOWSDT was selected as the supplier of the stage curtains to replace all existing curtains at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa for Southam Hall and the Theatre. Over 1.6 km of fabric was supplied for this project in the form of black velvet masking, black and white scrims and cycloramas.

Niagara Parks Power Station

JOEL Theatrical, a subcontractor of Solotech, supplied and integrated all of the audiovisual equipment for the experience, provided curtains and tracks to be installed on the many massive windows that run along the power plant to block out the light for the first performances.

Nouvelle Maison De Radio-Canada

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation is emblematic for the quality of its television productions. Artotech / Joel is proud to have completed one of its most important projects to date, La Nouvelle Maison de Radio-Canada. A design-build project in collaboration with Broccolini, Go Multimedia, SNC-Lavalin and XYZ Technologie culturelle. The work for this important mandate was carried out from October 2018 to August 2020.

Îlot Balmoral Studios

Artotech Integration was mandated by the Société d'habitation et de développement de Montréal (SHDM) to provide the following elements of lot 6.4: acquisition and installation of scenographic equipment for the Îlot Balmoral project, located at 1501 De Bleury Street, in Montreal.

Mcgill University

The MMR Multimedia Room in the Elizabeth Wirth Pavilion of the Schulich School of Music at McGill University has been completely renovated to allow for near-perfect and controllable acoustics, serving as a testing laboratory as well as a concert and music recording room.

Robert en Charleboisscope

Robert Charlebois is one of the greats of Quebec's chanson. To celebrate his 50 years of career, Robert Charlebois wanted to give a new youth to his songs, while offering them a resolutely modern and enchanting visual.

Trois-Rivières Coliseum

A brand new contribution to the Colisée de Trois-Rivières, in collaboration with XYZ Technologies.

St-Joseph Oratory of Montréal

Thanks to a 3D drawing production, we were able to conceal an opening to find the new speakers of the oratory. Moreover, this trompe-l'oeil effect completely respects the aesthetic and acoustic standards of the place.

Marie-Mai

In 2019, we had the chance and honor to provide the automated lifting equipment for Marie-Mai's grand premiere at the Bell Centre and her show at the Centre Vidéotron in Quebec City.

Festival d'été de Québec

We were mandated by Unisson Structures to lift the largest stage roof in North America. Twelve heavy-duty motors have been used every year since Unisson's debut on the Plains of Abraham.

Justice - Woman World Wide Tour

We were commissioned by Mash Company for this unique large scale project. A total of 48 TourLift 250kg D8 + C1 were used to deploy their lighting pods and everything was controlled from our Raynok System.

Palais Montcalm

We put our talent to work in the Raoul-Jobin concert hall. Our mission was to activate and operate in a synchronized manner the 6 electric hoists with a capacity of 6300 kg. These hoists allow the positioning of a 25-ton canopy that serves as an acoustic deflector. A curved bridge around the stage can be adjusted to different heights with the help of five 1000 kg hoists.

We had the chance to work on one of the most significant projects for the dance community in Quebec, located in the Quartier des spectacles.

Microsoft Theater

In 2018, a system upgrade allowed us to modernize the facility by incorporating a new control system for simplified activation of rigging equipment.
